Seriously now - apple are pissing me off

I cannot use iMessage or FaceTime on any of my Mac devices apart from (so far) my phone. One by one they have refused to work. WTF...

This will end up with a genius appointment in the Reading store. I am getting fed up now.

I my macbook pro will not iMessage or Facetime, I want a refund, simple as that. County court is just down the road from the apple store. We'll see how it goes.

Update: Devices have registered and activated again, but people can't iMessage me still - arrrg!

  1. Perhaps apple are now doing reverse ipv6 checks to copy google mail doing it this week.

  2. Have you tried:

    - log out of icloud account
    - reboot mac
    - log back into icloud account

This cured iMessage not working on my Mac recently.

  3. Get a PC, or install Skype ;-)
Joke on the side, Mac OS is a real pain to troubleshoot...

  4. The typical "something went wrong and we are not going to give you any kind of hint as to what is was" error messages from Apple devices annoy me greatly.

  6. Funny enough, AA have just (Monday morning) SMSd me for a line-up event which happened at about 11:30 on Friday. Are you using iMessage for your line event messages? ;-)
