Ok, I did have to force grub onto the right disk (I remembered this time) but other than that it did "just work". Upgrading the VM server instances I had was even easier.

Oh, and I'm starting to like Unity but still not a great fan.Nickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07625353381741797754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3993498847203183398.post-74186650387415383862012-05-08T21:32:08.946+01:002012-05-08T21:32:08.946+01:00Ubuntu upgrades are nightmares. Every dist upgrade broke huge amounts of stuff. (I still have to manually fix my grub config every time I upgrade my Eeeee to a new kernel). And then they laugh at Debian for being slow with new version. It's because of the months of stabilisation before they release, silly...
So, in short: don't blame Linux, don't blame Ubuntu's Debian foundations. Blame Canonical.Zombiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13139248734399611215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3993498847203183398.post-9973575928942717912012-05-08T20:48:30.915+01:002012-05-08T20:48:30.915+01:00kill -9 -1kill -9 -1Tonyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12228893118979415851noreply@blogger.com
