Hubby however treated himself to a Dutch which he LOVES: he is definitely the coolest bike gent in the village
:-)
He has nothing but praise for his bike. However, I find it WAY too heavy and am really glad that I didn't get one. DH is 6'4" and I'm 5'2" which may explain why our differing choices work for each of us.
Annie Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04406390389550024888noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3993498847203183398.post-5305360472775256532016-12-20T14:32:04.059+00:002016-12-20T14:32:04.059+00:00I wouldn't want to have to carry my Dutchie up...I wouldn't want to have to carry my Dutchie up and down stairs too much. It's quite heavy. Fine for riding, it gathers quite a momentum, but unless you want sporty thighs, try keep it at ground floor level. I've seen one online review suggesting a purchaser had serious set- up and quality issues, and then a poor response from the company which makes me somewhat nervous: have you found any draw-backs? Really appreciate your review, best wishes.Annie Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04406390389550024888noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3993498847203183398.post-64374672113114942152013-08-01T13:17:14.841+01:002013-08-01T13:17:14.841+01:00Thanks for replying, time to place an order!

There is only one slight annoyance - when pulling away I am used to being able to move the peddles to a convenient starting point - with back-peddle brakes you can't do that. Takes a bit of getting used to. Otherwise very happy.RevKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12369263214193333422noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3993498847203183398.post-37853076487390630852013-07-31T23:17:26.556+01:002013-07-31T23:17:26.556+01:00Hello, I'm thinking of buying a Dutchie Dapper...Hello, I'm thinking of buying a Dutchie Dapper.
