Very good storytelling and reflections on a bygone era. Isn’t it amazing how quickly the technooogy moves on. To think, we now live in an age of AI and very cheap and powerful consumer technology. Many years ago people didn’t have all that. Yet, they had gigantic houses with huge orchards. Many old people have so much wealth. Just look at the TV show “The Good Life”. I bet that house is worth about £10M now. Does the tech make us richer as a society? Social media has led to many social problems. I’d love to have a huge house and a final salary pension! But were they happier really. It is a very confusing time to live in.
