Did https kill my blog

Seriously, hits are down like 50%, and I wonder if it is https?

    2. Wouldn't hurt to setup a 301, to update people's bookmarks etc? revk.www.me.uk is linked a fair bit across the web. I tend to follow a policy that if I've put a URL up I aim to either 301 or 410 if it needs to be gone.

    3. Permalinks using the old style are broken - maybe lots of people came from stuff linked in the media and whatnot?

  3. The change to HTTPS caused NewsBlur to stop updating. After realising, changing it from HTTP resolved the issue.

  4. It looks like your https server on www.me.uk is broken. This is the message I get when trying to connect to www.me.uk:

    This site can’t be reached
    www.me.uk unexpectedly closed the connection.
    Try:

    Checking the connection
    ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED

Connecting to www.revk.uk work just peachy though.

  6. The captcha thing didn't seem to be working yesterday... just kept going blank and stalling like it was waiting for the captcha server to respond. I don't think it was my equipment but it seems to be working ok now anyway

  7. For future reference. Try the free official Word Viewer (discontinued but old versions should still work).

Otherwise, there is Office Online, which is also free but requires registration.
